Delicious Angel Food Cake

Looking for a nice dessert cake, a party to impress your guests? If so, I have a complete recipe for you. The Creme de Menthe Cake recipe was the favorite in my family for the past 10 years. I enjoy doing it all year, but my favorite season, so it is around the holidays.

This recipe, however, take some time to do, but it is well worth your effort. Will serve 10-14 people, depending on how big your pieces cut.

Creme de Menthe Angel Food Cake Dessert
1 package white angel food cake mix
2 1 / 4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 / 2 cup milk
1 / 4 cup creme de menthe extract
1 / 4 teaspoon salt
60-10 drops green food coloring
2 cups whipped cream bars
1 oz unsweetened chocolate block
1 / 4 teaspoon shortening

Tip: If you want to split, mark side of cake with wooden tips with a knife and cut into long, narrow, serrated. In a large pot, heat miniature marshmallows and milk together over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until marshmallows are melted. Remove saucepan from heat. Cool the mixture at room temperature for about 25 minutes or until thickened. Stir in creme de menthe extract, salt and food coloring.
